Manga mini-ramble: Corpse Party

Do you love mangas that involves a lot of young students dying because one person was murdered and held a deep enough grudge that a curse was formed?

If so, Corpse Party is the manga for you.

The entrancing story is done by Makoto Kedouin with the beautiful art crafted by Toshimi Shinomiya, this manga truly entices the reader into a Gorey and dark story where a group of friends fight supernatural forces in order to stay alive but that's not the only thing at risk, their sanity is pushed to the edge and even the true face of each character starts to surface when one after the other, each character seems to die in brutal ways. The only way to escape is by trying to keep it together and finding the truth about what happened at Tenjin Elementary.

I do enjoy horrors and supernatural books of all kinds, especially mangas. I enjoy the story and how it kept me reading till the end. The art is appealing and the story, I cannot express how much I love the story. The sixth book in the image is a huge "what if" scenario and makes a nice edition with the main five omnibuses that has been collected.

Why do I recommend this manga? Can I just say, the story is the top reason closely followed by the art and then everything else. I mean, it's a manga worth reading and it's even better on the shelf cause of how it looks.

Fun fact, the game is just as amazing and dark, I died a few times playing it but I just loved it and was the sole reason into why I bought the manga. It's one of my main pieces of my manga collection and the one I was most happy to finish cause that ending was so shocking to me. I didn't expect it, to be completely honest.

I dunno what else to add but I do recommend all supernatural and horror fans to give it a go!
